Call for nominations
Dear colleagues, dear friends,
As we all know time flies, and indeed we arrive at the final year of the second term of Presidency of our Norwegian colleague Anthony Wagstaff, who did a great job, especially with the link of our ECAM to our AsMA friends in Oslo and Prague, and now also to our friends of the Academy for Paris in September 2020!
Thus we have to vote for a new President-Elect at the upcoming ESAM General Assembly which will be held at the venue of the 2019 ICASM congress in Debrecen on 8 September at 6 pm:

We are planning a web-based election with opportunity for voting also at the actual GA in Debrecen. Since our Statutes foresee a call for nomination until 6 weeks before the GA, and publishing the names 4 weeks beforehand on our website, and seen the upcoming summer holidays, we would urge you to nominate potential candidates from your Association as soon as possible to the Nominating Committee composed of Lilla Ungvary (H), Christian Panait (RO) and me (BE). The nominations must come from the Member Associations, which must be in order with their annual dues on the moment of the vote.
The nominated colleague should have worked in close collaboration with ESAM over the last 2 years minimum. She or he should send a short CV and a statement in support of their candidacy to be published on our website www.esam.aero .
We wish you well deserved holidays, and hope to see you in September, but in the meantime do not forget to nominate your candidates!
