European Aerospace Medicine visible at AsMA

Roland Vermeiren, founder member and previous President of ESAM, Head of Medical Service of EUROCONTROL, is this year the first President of the Aerospace Medical Association (AsMA) from continental Europe in their 90-year history.

Roland was the first to receive the Chevalier Award of ESAM for his exceptional work for our organisation, and he continues to be a central figure in ESAM. It is with pride we support him in his Presidency of AsMA, and hope many Europeans will make their way to the AsMA Annual Scientific Meeting in Las Vegas from 5th  to 9th of May, 2019.   (www.asma.org/scientific-meetings/asma-annual-scientific-meeting/schedule).

Rumors have it that delegates to the AsMA meeting will notice a certain European and Belgian feeling this year, as Roland makes his mark as President!

Martin Hudson, who has a central place in the Advisory Board of ESAM and over many years has supported ESAM with his knowledge and commitment, is now President of AMDA, the Airline Medical Directors Association (www.amda.aero).

The important work of AMDA will surely benefit from Martins always supportive and friendly attitude, along with his outstanding experience in our field.

ESAM is proud to support him in his Presidency, which also provides an extra reason to join the AsMA (and also the excellent AMDA scientific meeting on 4th of May, 2019) in Las Vegas this year!
