The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has had and continues to have dramatic consequences throughout the world. As countries struggle to contain the spread of the coronavirus, many national and international scientific, economic, cultural, and sporting events have had to be cancelled or delayed. Accordingly, it is with deep regret that we inform you that the Organization Committee has taken the difficult, but necessary, decision to postpone the First International Conference of Aerospace Medicine, which was to be held in Paris from 24-26 September 2020, to 22-24 September 2022.Read more

Thus we have to vote for a new President-Elect at the upcoming ESAM General Assembly which will be held at the venue of the 2019 ICASM congress in Debrecen on 8 September at 6 pm:

Dear member associations of ESAM, The European Society of Aerospace Medicine – ESAM – is seeking closer collaboration with its European national aerospace medicine societies in order to promote and share more activities in aviation and space medicine across Europe.
Therefore please find enclosed a letter from ESAM President Anthony Wagstaff introducing the concept of Circle of Experts. This concept has been developed by the ESAM Advisory Board and is envisioned to serve as a platform for future collaboration and influence amongst aerospace medicine associations.
